I’ve chosen a marathon

Well, it’s official. I’ve registered for the 2012 Marine Corps Marathon on October 28, 2012.

I’ll expand more on the reasons why I chose MCM2012 later, but I’m pretty pumped up about getting in. The registration window for 30,000 entrants was 2 hours, 41 minutes, making this the fastest-selling marathon (PDF) in history.

  1. Epic! This race is on my list (I’d be counting it as the 51st state) but alas, not this year. Good luck in the ramp-up!

  2. I’m pretty pumped. I’ve always watched people on TV shows run along the Potomac. Now I get to do it.
