My running group decided to venture to downtown Louisville today for our six-mile run. We started off in Waterfront Park and wound our way along the river with a goal of making it to the McAlpine Locks and Dam. What we didn’t account for was the river itself. Due to heavy recent rains, the river claimed our path about 2 miles in. So we opted for a little detour through the streets of downtown. Looping back, we’d only run five miles, but I stopped because my knee was hurting (more on that later).
Enjoy the photos. Just remember that these were taken with an iPhone in mid-stride.
